Whether you personal goal is to prepare for the challenges of fire school, the police academy, your first triathlon, weight loss or a continuation of your current fitness routine, consider Alana Richardson for your fitness needs. Michele Ward- CrossFit Level 1 Certified Trainer, USA Weightlifting Club Coach

By day, Michele is a mild-mannered creative consultant working for a major insurance company. A Tampa native, Michele has 20+ years experience as an athlete.

A classically-trained ballet dancer, for 15 years...

and a death-defying neighborhood street-ball jock, she later earned a college scholarship for softball. She played intramural sports at USF and was the quarterback of her women’s flag-football team. Over the years she trained at nearly every "globo" gym imaginable only to be disappointed with the nonexistent support and worse, the elusive results. Since training with Crossfit - even as early as the first month of practice - she has seen immense physical and mental gains both profound and measurable. She continues to see improved performance in her past-time sports ... indoor climbing, kayaking, mountain biking, kickboxing and yoga.

Favorite Crossfit quote: "Being weak is a choice. GET STRONG."

Least favorite excuse (most likely to get you smacked): "I’m not strong enough to do Crossfit."

Cory Cantrall – Crossfit Level 1 Certified Trainer

Cory spent 9 years in the United States Marine Corps, therefore is no stranger to fitness and strength training. As a high school athlete and throughout his time in the Marine Corps he spent little effort on fitness and hardcore conditioning. As a natural athlete his minimum always seemed to be enough to achieve the results needed on tests of physical fitness that the Military and High School sports teams considered “Fitness”

After a recent battle with Melanoma and Chemotherapy (July 2008) he discovered that his fitness level was not all that fit. Major David Joseforsky a friend and colleague introduced him to Crossfit in August of 2008 shortly after his fight with cancer.  After working slowly through the Main Page WODs for several months at his local Globo Gym Cory realized the focus and dedication required to accomplish a true level of fitness lied in the Crossfit Program. Soon after moving to Tampa in December 2008 he found our gym and has been pushing himself to break personal records ever since. I'm very excited to see one of our most dedicated members give back to our community...way to go Cory! Don't be shy...if you need any help or coaching Cory's the man!

A Favorite Quote:

“Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever.” Lance Armstrong
