We live in an age where fad diets and surgery are the preferred method of weight loss. Our gym has a much healthier approach...we preach accountability and hard work. It isn't easy loosing weight...it hurts...it's miserable...it down right sucks! But, if you dedicate yourself to a proper diet and exercise it will happen. No...not overnight, it will take some time! But, in the end the weight you lose naturally will be more likely to stay off. You'll gain flexibility, strength and reap a myriad of health benefits.
When people enter our program I instruct them to stay off the scale..."lets see how your clothes fit in a month". Inevitable their duds start falling off their hips...neck sizes shrink and their shoes fall off (ok..that last part is BS).
Gaining lean muscle mass is the key to fat loss...almost everyone who walks in the gym will gain some weight initially. Then something amazing happens...the pounds start to drop off.
So, you can do it the hard way (our way) or the easy way (their way)....its up to you?
